Welcome to YEES TZ.

I founded Youth Education and Empowerment through Skills – Tanzania (YEES TZ) with a strong belief that every young person has value, potential and dreams that can transform their life, family and community when given the right opportunities, education, skills and guidance.

I have come to understand that the challenges facing many young people are not necessarily a lack of ability, but often a lack of opportunities, practical skills, resources and supportive environments in which they can discover and use their potential. For this reason, YEES TZ was established to serve as a bridge between young people and opportunities that can help them build better and more sustainable lives.

As the Founder, my vision is not simply to establish an organization for the sake of having an organization. My vision is to build a platform of hope, knowledge, skills and opportunity where young people can believe in themselves, develop their abilities and become active contributors to positive change.

I believe that when a young person is given education, they gain the ability to think; when given skills, they gain the ability to create and work; when given opportunity, they gain the ability to become self-reliant; and when given the opportunity to lead, they can transform their community.

Therefore, YEES TZ is committed to supporting young people through education, vocational and life skills training, entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, sports, girls’ empowerment and income-generating initiatives.

We do not aim to do everything for young people; we aim to empower them to do more for themselves.

I invite young people to become part of this journey of transformation. I also invite parents, communities, government institutions, development partners, donors, civil society organizations, private-sector institutions, faith-based organizations and all stakeholders who share this vision to join us in building a generation of young people who are educated, skilled, responsible, innovative and capable of creating sustainable opportunities for themselves and others.

This journey belongs to all of us.

It is with great humility and a deep sense of responsibility that I welcome you to Youth Education and Empowerment through Skills – Tanzania (YEES TZ).

YEES TZ was born from a vision and a strong belief that every young person has potential, talent and the ability to make a meaningful contribution to society when given the right knowledge, skills, guidance and opportunity.

As the Founder, I established YEES TZ with the desire to see young people become more empowered, self-reliant and actively involved in the social and economic development of their communities.

Across many communities, young people face challenges such as unemployment, limited access to vocational and entrepreneurship skills, poverty, school dropout, limited opportunities for innovation and inadequate platforms for leadership and personal development. These challenges can limit the ability of young people to reach their full potential.

YEES TZ therefore seeks to be a platform where young people can learn, develop skills, discover their potential, create opportunities and become agents of positive change.

Our work focuses on youth education and empowerment through vocational training, entrepreneurship, income-generating activities, girls' education, literacy, leadership, sports, innovation and community development. We believe that sustainable empowerment is not simply about providing assistance; it is about creating opportunities that enable people to build their own future.

As Founder, I am committed to building an organization founded on integrity, accountability, equality, inclusion, transparency, teamwork and respect for human dignity. I also believe strongly in partnership. Government institutions, communities, development partners, civil society organizations, private-sector institutions, faith-based organizations and other stakeholders all have an important role to play in creating sustainable opportunities for young people.

Our vision is bigger than one organization. It is about contributing to a generation of young people who are educated, skilled, responsible, innovative and capable of transforming their families and communities.

I therefore invite young people, partners, supporters and all stakeholders to join us in this journey of empowerment and transformation.
